Angela Scott - Mask, 2017 This mask represents a modern twist on a traditional artistic expression; to me it represents the story of my transformation, how the world sees me, masking my resurgence, my resilience and my spirit.

Anna Heckadon, Icelandic Protest Sign by Gunnar Már Pétursson, Reykjavík Open Air Museum, 2017 Original sign that was held outside of Parliament in Iceland by Gunnar Már Pétursson during the 2008 financial crisis. This phrase, translating to “God Damn, Fucking Fuck,” became widely used as an expression of anger at the economic corruption the country faced.

Noga Yarmar - Fragments, 2018 I created an artistic response to an interview I did with a Holocaust survivor this past spring in Israel. As an eight-year-old girl hiding in Budapest, she experienced a traumatic event that nearly killed her. It involved glass shards. Years later, the fear of braking glass continues to haunt her in unexpected ways.
